Nitric Oxide(NO) is a molecule one’s body produces naturally that plays an essential role in regulating one's health. For athletes, NO helps to decrease muscle soreness and, more importantly, it boosts performance through a process called vasodilation. Vasodilation is the widening of the blood vessels; wider blood vessels aid with enhancing performance by helping nutrients and oxygen get to muscles during strenuous activity.
